In the year 1271, Marco Polo the Venetian merchant and adventurer, set off on a three year journey towards Asia to reach the capital of China, to fulfill Kublai Khan’s wish to meet Europeans. Along the way, Marco Polo sailed the seas and rode camels across the Silk Road.
